From Wodonga in NSW, Jackson started racing karts as a 6-year-old, winning many championships in various classes along the way. He claimed his first TA2 race win at the final round at Winton, also winning the PWR Pole Award in the top ten shootout. Dream Racing Teammate Kyle Gurton pushed him all the way in the final however full credit to Jackson and his father David for putting together a race winning package.
