Big Names Join TFH Racing for TA2 Enduro
TFH Racing is set to field a powerhouse line-up for next month’s TA2 Tag Team Enduro at Queensland Raceway, with 2019 TA2 Champion Aaron Seton and 2024 Trans Am Champion Todd Hazelwood joining the team alongside Nash Morris and Elliot Barbour for the August 15-17 event.
Aaron Seton will drive with Ben Gomersall and said he was excited to rejoin the category for the first time since 2021.
"I'm really excited to be getting back behind the wheel of a TA2 car, it’s been a while since my last drive in one, with my most recent outing back in 2021 before the pandemic brought everything to a halt.”
“They’re incredibly rewarding cars to drive, and I’ve got some great memories and solid experience from my time in the category. I’m also looking forward to teaming up with Ben Gomersall, he’s a fast and talented young driver, and I think we’ve got the potential to put together a strong performance."
Supercars co-driver Todd Hazelwood will join forces with Josh Thomas for the second year in a row after a strong result last year at The Bend, and says he is excited to be teaming up with Josh again to have a red hot crack.
“Teaming up with Josh at our home track, we’re looking to put in a strong performance and have a clean weekend as a team. We really enjoyed the two-driver format at The Bend last year, despite a few car gremlins, so we’re definitely chasing a bit of redemption this time around.”
“Racing regularly in the Trans Am series gives me a solid edge heading into the enduro, but with this being my first time on Goodyear tyres, it’ll be a learning weekend, and one I’m really looking forward to.”
Rising star Diesel Thomas, currently sitting fourth in the championship in an impressive rookie season, will team up with Trans Am front-runner Nash Morris, forming an exciting young pairing for TFH Racing.
Joining Des Collier in the #63 Mustang for this year’s TA2 Enduro is experienced Trans Am regular Elliot Barbour, who reunites with Collier following their successful partnership at last year’s endurance round at The Bend.
Round five of the TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series presented by Maritimo Luxury Yachts is the headline act for the Hi-Tec Super Series and kicks off August 15-17 at Queensland Raceway. Saturday and Sunday’s action can be watched live and free to air on SBS Free to Air, SBS On Demand and simulcast to Fox Sports and Kayo Sports.
