Hi-Tec Oils Motorsport Fields Three-Car’s for TA2 Enduro
)
Hi-Tec Oils Motorsport will field reigning TA2 Champion Josh Haynes alongside Trans Am rising star Blake Tracey and Trans Am and Speedway identity Jason Pryde for this week’s TA2 Tag Team Enduro at Queensland Raceway, taking place August 15 -17.
Josh Haynes dominated last year’s TA2 Series to claim the championship title before stepping up to the Trico Trans Am Series in 2025, though he was forced to miss the last round at Sandown due to budget constraints.
Haynes said he’s looking forward to teaming up with Stibbs as he’s got plenty of experience in the cars and he’s looking forward to getting back to the TA2 grid for the enduro.
"It’s shaping up to be a really exciting event, with a stacked field, plenty of racing, and some big names but the key will be staying out of trouble and being there at the end of those long races to hopefully bring home some silverware.”
“I’m really looking forward to teaming up with Stibbs, he’s got plenty of experience. I’ve driven on the Hoosier tyre many times before, but the Goodyear tyre in TA2 will be something new but like all the drivers, we’ll need to adapt quickly, but I’m sure it’ll come together after a few laps.”
At just 18 years old, Blake Tracey is currently competing in the Trico Trans Am Series, and despite a challenging start to the season, Tracey had a break out event at Sandown running at the front of the field and will team up with Brad Gartner in the #22 Hi-Tec Oils Chevrolet Camaro for this weekend’s event.
Blake said he's looking forward to the different format for the weekend and driving against some of the biggest names in the sport.
"I'm really looking forward to the TA2 Tag Team Enduro this weekend and working closely with Brad and the team. He’s a top driver and it’s a tough field with so many big names on the grid, but it’s going to be exciting,” said Tracey
“Like Josh the Goodyear tyre will be a first for me. It might take a bit of time to adapt, but I’m excited to take on the challenge and learn as much as I can.”
Speedway legend Robbie Farr will be joined for his first TFH TA2 Tag Team Enduro by fellow Speedway start Jason Pryde in the Hi-Tec Oils Chevrolet Camaro for the Tag Team Enduro.
Pryde is no stranger to TA2 but like many of the Co Drivers will be experiencing the Goodyear tyre for the first time.
“I’m in the same boat as most of the others, but driving against so many big names and experienced campaigners will be the biggest challenge and I can’t wait to get started on Friday to see where we’re at.”
Round five of the TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series presented by Maritimo Luxury Yachts is the headline act for the Hi-Tec Super Series and kicks off August 15-17 at Queensland Raceway. Saturday and Sunday’s action can be watched live and free to air on SBS Free to Air, SBS On Demand and simulcast to Fox Sports and Kayo Sports.
